Prerequisite: Add Braze credentials to VoucherifyTo send events to Braze, connect your Voucherify project with Braze.
You can use Voucherify customer events to optimize customer journeys in Braze and react to what your customers do.
Voucherify sends the following events to Braze:

Action-based delivery

Send notifications automatically based on custom events. You can use custom events to personalize your Braze message templates. When creating a Braze campaign, in the Schedule step, select Action-Based Delivery to use custom events. From the list, select Perform Custom Event and add it as a trigger. Then, select a given Voucherify event from the events you have sent to Braze.
Experiment ideas:
  • Trigger a follow-up message when REDEMPTION.FAILED is sent. Test whether offering an alternative incentive recovers the customer.
  • Notify customers when REWARDED.LOYALTY_POINTS is sent. Test timing and messaging to drive repeated engagement.
Read the Action-based delivery guide in Braze documentation to learn more.

Tracking Voucherify events in Braze

Check how your customers react to Voucherify events by tracking the events in Braze. Use the gained insights to further optimize your incentives. Track the events in your Braze account by heading to:
  • Data > Custom Events,
  • Analytics > Custom Events Report in a new view.
Example of such an event would be action-based delivery. Select the period of time and events that interest you from the available list. Events that you send to Braze are automatically added to the search list.

Customer-specific events

You can also check the actions performed by a specific user rather than general statistics. Go to:
  • Users > User Search,
  • Audience > Search Users in a new view.
Braze campaigns can include a Connected Content script to use Voucherify API endpoints to perform different actions, like publishing a code. Braze delivers the message while Voucherify handles incentive eligibility and protects your budget with different guardrails like validation rules.
